October was one heck of a happening month, with weddings in Malta, Diwali celebrations in B town, award night in K town, and film promotions – loads of them! If there is one word to describe this month for our favourite celebs, it’s got to be happening. And that’s a boon and a bane. The good thing is that it was a sartorial heaven with a lot of choices and the bad thing was…too many choices!
We saw a lot of festive wear thanks to Diwali, weddings, and award ceremonies – sprinkled with a few casual chic looks here and there.
Want to nail the style game this Fall? Scroll ahead!
Pakistan’s latest heartthrob looks super chic in an Ali Xeeshan white trench dress at the L’Oréal Professionnel Business Forum held in Spain earlier this month.
Uhm….so we thought PJs were totally appropriate for your dog’s morning walk. But apparently they aren’t, at least, according to the Baywatch beauty. Clad in a chic blue jumpsuit, while out and about with Diana (her dog) in Los Angeles, PC seems to be almost ready to shoot a film scene.
P.s. It is totally appropriate to walk your dog in your mules.
Malaika Arora Khan
All you mummies out there, here’s some inspo for you. Doesn’t Malaika Arora look like a piece of art in Gaurav Gupta’s white Sculpture Dress while attending Elle India Beauty Awards?
If looks could kill, this Bulbulay star would be guilty as charged! Clad in a glamorous purple ball gown and on-fleek waves, she deserves every bit of the Most Stylish Actress (TV) award she received at the QHSA.
Saira Shahroz looks like a million bucks in this metallic desi ensemble. The luxe Tena Durrani jacket paired with a metallic crop top and culottes is how you do it right at destination weddings.
Because chikankari with kamdaani is our all-time favourite combination. And yes, those chaandbalis are love!
How khubsoorat does this Bollywood diva look in her uber traditional Abujani Sandeep Khosla lehnga? The Rajasthani teeka is another one of our favourite pieces of jewelry! It adds so much character to any look. Also, if you want to go desi all the way, there isn’t a better way than adorning your hair with motiya strings. Keep the tip handy for the shaadi season.
This beauty dazzles in an all-black gown with sheer sleeves and a whole lot of bling for Elan’s solo show held in Lahore this month. We love the silhouette with those broad shoulders and tapered hem; we just wish the sleeves didn’t crumple towards the end.
Bebo channeled true royalty for diwali celebrations in this Tarun Tahiliani sharara set. Those jewels seem like heirlooms and we wish they would magically land in our jewelry box!
The Pakistani model screams glam even when off the ramp. She totally works the fall look with that leather jacket paired with ripped denims and black boots.
We cannot get enough of this beauty when she’s decked up in traditional outfits. Gharara pants or a sari, Mahira Khan shows us why simplicity is the keynote of elegance. She’s seen above wearing Zara Shahjahan’s block printed matching separates and an organza dupatta in mint green. And looking fly.
At Verna’s trailer launch, she wore a pretty ivory gharara sari and accessorized it with a choker. We cannot wait to see what she has in store for us during the rest of the promotional campaign.
An edgy outfit with a clean, urban cut? Yes, please! Armeena Khan seems to have just stepped off the runway in Husain Rehar’s Mustard Shower – a colour blocked simple-cut kurta and pants. The trendy colour combination with an ideal hint of bling has our vote, but the limp bob – not so much!
