We almost needed physical restraints to control ourselves from grabbing everything within our reach! The clothes were gorgeous, the store – well, we wish we could live in it – and the accessories (especially notebooks) need your special attention. Chapter 2 By Khaadi is a dream come true for those who are sick of the print frenzy engulfing the high street.
Like Zorain Imam said, “Instead of Chapter 2, this brand should’ve been ‘Minus One’ because it looks like Khaadi has gone back to its roots.”
“It’s something that we did about 18 years ago. It’s just like going back to our passion. We’re doing it all over again. We’re very very happy how everything has turned out. Everybody is liking it,” shared a clearly overwhelmed Shamoon Sultan – the CEO of Khaadi.
Like all other attendees, Imam looked supremely pleased with the store and told us that he has his eyes on quite a few things. We wouldn’t be wrong in saying that NOBODY left empty handed from the launch. It just wasn’t possible to ignore all the goodness on display.
Moving on, let’s discuss what exactly did we love about Chapter 2 – was it the ambience or the product itself?
It was a mix of both.
The store is aesthetically pleasing – which adds to the shopping experience – but that alone cannot persuade you to buy the product. It was the simple cuts, solid colors, and geometric designs that blew our socks away (even though we weren’t wearing any)!
Apart from hand woven clothes – which included kameezes, crop tops, shalwars, trousers, dupattas, and saris (phew) – the store also offers minimalistic jewellery by Amna Sharif. We’re definitely buying the edgy arm candy, and yes, also the closed toe open back shoes!
They come in every colour and go SO WELL with the edgy minimalistic look being propagated by Chapter 2. In case, you are in a habit of throwing house parties or just want to spruce up your dining area, then do have a look at their household items.
After ages we finally have a store that entices us to go in and buy anything and everything without thinking twice.
