Check Out These Eight Independence Day Nail Art Looks

Green nails, anyone?

By Sherazade Khan

Celebrating Independence Day isn’t all about putting up green and white fairy lights, wearing your best white kurta, and hanging jhandis. Not anymore! With time, 14th of August has evolved into a day where you have the freedom to unleash your crazy side. A side which craves for green lipstick, emerald eyes, or painting a flag on your nails!

Earlier, we gave you five makeup looks to try this independence day and now we present green and white nail art!

We love this super patriotic mix and match nails. It is easy to do at home, given you have a helping hand and the right tools like stencils and a steady hand!

This one is just so mouthwatering to look at. Head to a professional for this glittering green and white nails, just like the Pakistani Flag!

This tutorial is easy to follow if you get hold of the stamp (the pattern can vary). We’d suggest you use white instead of silver for the pattern.

If you’re looking for something more playful, then why not this dark green and light green drippy effect? All you’ll need is two nail colors and a sticker sheet (which is easily available at an art supply store).

This one will require a little bit of patience and  A LOT of effort, but it will look well worth it! Take professional help for this one and ask them to replace the black with white.

We love the little metallic star – you can get creative and cut out a little crescent instead of the triangle!

If you’re looking for something with just a hint of green, then check out these two cool florals by the Dressing Table Salon.
