What did the most recent conversation with your bestie sound like? Something like this: “Omg! Ramazan is here! And btw, are you done with your Eid shopping because shopping while fasting is two words; Not possible!” If your chat did revolve around stripping each and every Eid collection apart then you’re right where you should be. We just went through Farah Talib Aziz’s special collection for Eid and we think your outfit(s) for the festival is sorted.
The classic brand’s latest designs are feminine, chic, and can be worn from lunch to that evening party easily. Don’t believe us? Hear it directly from FTA’s Brand Partner, Maliha Aziz.
“We started working on our eid collection at the beginning of the year! We wanted something fun, different and chic, but we wanted to keep our brand’s aesthetics [elegant, feminine and wearable] intact! We wanted to create pieces that’ll take you from daywear to evening events, eastern wear to fusion looks while making an effortless style statement,” she told us when asked to describe the brand’s design philosophy behind the Eid line.
Now, if your personal style borders towards quirky instead of ethereal then FTA’s cruise collection is your best bet, but if you’re into flirtatious silhouettes and cool colour palette then their second collection (which we’re talking about here) has everything you need.
“We created three distinct eid collections,” Maliha describes. “Our pre-eid cruise collection that has vivid conversational prints on a light flowing silk constructed in wearable statement cuts is priced between 14-16 thousand. While the second one is our ready-to-wear collection that consists of various silhouettes from A-line shirts to draped wraps! It also consists of elegant traditional pieces including tulle dupattas with gota and mukesh as well as easy breezy cotton nets with silk dupattas!”
Did we hear Mukesh, gota, and cotton nets? We’re totally sold. Here is a sneak preview into Farah Talib Aziz’ Eid Collection:
Asymmetrical hemline and uber flared sleeves with slits are a win!
Barely there embellishments and ruffles add an oomph factor to any outfit and FTA has played on it really well.
We’re loving the double-shades flared pants and that organza dupatta!
We’re so glad, FTA’s design team stuck to a light colour palette and embroidery hat doesn’t stare at you from afar.
Make a statement with your pants by either going for the peek-a-boo ones on the right or the ruffled ones on the left!
