Top 10 Kurtas for January

Read this before hitting the shops!

By Maheen Bajwa and Mahvish Ahmed

Things have evolved in Pakistani fashion over the past few years and there is a multitude of brands that stock ready to wear kurtas for every occasion and time of the day. We are finally free of the clutches of master saab for most of our fashion requirements and that’s a relief for sure. However, where brands are adding fresh collections to their racks every single week, we often find ourselves at the mercy of the same old stuff everywhere. Every kurta you see is a digital print championing floral patterns or Parisian scenes with similar lengths and cuts. Hence, Women’s Own has taken upon itself to update the readers about the best kurtas available every month starting this January. Whether it’s the creative use of pleats or some drama in the sleeves; an edgy cut or a print more than just roses – we find out what makes those new kurtas stand out from the rest.
