Are you one of those late bloomers who only recently started sporting burgundy lips when everyone has already moved on to rose gold? We feel you, but you must stop being a laggard. One way to do that is to surprise everyone this Eid and sport the hottest colour of the season: lemon yellow!
Lemon, AKA pale yellow, is feminine, pretty, and will help you feel fresh and spring-like right in the middle of the harsh Pakistani summer and approaching Autumn. And truth be told, it is not as daunting as bright yellow. Lots of designers have experimented with this pastel shade to create yummy outfits.
Here’s how you can wear the subdued tone like a pro.
Wear it as a high-low short angrakha with lots of silver embroidery and organza bows on the sleeves. You must appreciate the use of different fabrics in this outfit. Add some perky orange lip colour and you are good to go.

You can also try this trendy drawstring tunic with embroidered motifs and flare-y sleeves. Pair it with wide-legged culottes or boot cut pants to complete the look.
A lavishly embellished lemon lace jacket accentuated with a belt definitely has the potential to be a head-turner.

Or maybe a simple raw silk jacket adorned with laser cut work can do the trick? In the end, it all depends on which way you sway. (We’d say invest in those pretty boot cut pants too!)
If you like to keep things more traditional, then how about this pretty chikankari kurta? You can pair it with gharara pants for an entirely desi look or cropped culottes for a more contemporary one.
Something as cute as this lemon tunic accentuated with lace details is perfect for Eid brunches as well as work meetings (which are bound to happen post the festivities). Investing in practical pieces is always a good idea.
Go for some pink lippy and lemon slip ons with bows for a playful, girly look this Eid, or nude peeptoes to make it work at work.
If classy is your thing then this one by Zaheer Abbas is for you! Embroidery, cut work and lace details come together beautifully to create a timeless kurta. We would lose the bandana though and go for a messy braid instead.

This ensemble would be an ideal pick for the fashion-forward woman in you. Scallops, a tulip shalwar, and dainty embellishments make a lovely picture! Don’t forget to pair it with kundan chandbaalis for a festive look or even fringe earrings.

In case, frills and bows are your best friends, here’s a Sana Abbas ensemble that you must check out. It has pastel embroidery, frills, bows, and net detailing on the pants!
