Drink coffee to have a better nap

In Japan people consume one or two cups of coffee before taking a “coffee nap” straight away. Coffee naps apparently helped people to be more alert and performed better in their daily lives opposed to people who just took a nap.  Next time you take a nap for 20 minutes, don’t forget your coffee.

For healthy teeth, don’t brush after eating

Don’t brush your teeth immediately after meals and drinks, especially if they were acidic. Acidic foods can soften tooth enamel. Brushing your teeth at this stage can speed up acid’s effect on your enamel and erode the layer underneath. It’s best to wait 30 to 60 minutes before brushing.

Skip energy drinks when you’re tired

Energy drinks contain up to five times more caffeine than coffee which can lead to unpleasant side effects like nervousness, irritability, and rapid heartbeat. Plus, energy drinks often contain high levels of sugar which can be bad for the nervous system leaving one lethargic and vague asking for another energy drink.

Sniff an apple to stop a migraine

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but it turns out that sniffing an apple can also help in reducing the severity of migraines. The odor of an apple has a pleasant fragrance that can relax one and reduce tension. Next time you have a headache go grab an apple.

Drink a hot beverage to cool off

Drinking something warm on a hot summer day will help you to cool down faster.  Sipping on a hot beverage will allow your body senses to change in temperature and increase your sweat production the sweat will evaporate from your skin allowing you to cool off naturally.
