Last week, pregnant tattoo and makeup artist Kat Von D announced that she doesn’t plan on vaccinating her baby. The makeup lovers didn’t take that too well, apparently what you do to your child is everyone’s business. One wonders, how she brings up her child has to do anything with her makeup line. Like hello, professional and personal life separate people.

The beauty fans are threatening to boycott her products. Is it time we say bye bye to, Miracle eye tattoo?
All the makeup lovers know it is hard to find a product that suits you! We are prepared to pay more but we are not willing to compromise on our beauty products. However, the threats we don’t know are merely words or people will actually act upon them but let us just stock those babies up before a riot is caused.

She chose Instagram to make the announcement of her huge decision.
I knew the minute we announced our pregnancy that we would be bombarded with unsolicited advice. Some good and some questionable – unsolicited none the less. I also was prepared for the backlash and criticism we would get if we decided to be open about our personal approach to our pregnancy. My own Father flipped out on me when I told him we decided to ditch our doctor and go with a midwife instead. If you don’t know what it’s like have people around you think you are ridiculous, try being openly vegan. And, if you don’t know what it’s like to have the entire world openly criticize, judge, throw uninformed opinions, and curse you – try being an openly pregnant vegan on Instagram, having a natural, drug-free home birth in water with a midwife and doula, who has the intention of raising a vegan child, without vaccinations. My point being: I already know what it’s like to make life choices that are not the same as the majority. So your negative comments are not going influence my choices – actual research and educating myself will – which i am diligently doing. This is my body. This is our child. And this is our pregnancy journey. Feel free to follow me on here if you like what I’m about – whether it’s tattooing, lipstick, Animal Rights, sobriety, feminism, ridiculous gothiness, black flower gardening, cats, or my adorable husband. But if you don’t dig a certain something about what I post, i kindly ask that you press the unfollow button and move the fuck on. So before anyone of you feel inspired to tell me how to do this, I would appreciate you keeping your unsolicited criticism to yourself. More importantly, for those who have amazing positive energy to send my way, I will gladly and graciously receive it with love! X
Openly pregnant vegan? Sounds cool, no problem with that. Natural, drug-free home birth in water with a midwife and doula? Good for her, every mom should give a birth they’re comfortable with whether it’s a normal delivery or C-section, who are we to judge. Raising a vegan child? Hey, she’s got the money and resources to make sure her little one is fed and has everything he wants, she can provide for her child. It’s the “without vaccinations” part that doesn’t sound right. Because all of her other choices don’t have the power to literally kill someone or make them sick leading to a hard life. Vaccines aren’t merely a parenting choice, they’re a public health issue.
Just Like Kat has the right to do as she pleases with her life and her kid’s life, till the time the child is grown up enough to make his own choices so do the consumers have all the liberty to boycott her products. It’s about respecting each others opinions, right?

They can’t force her neither can she force them although in this we have to say, Kat really needs to re-think her decision. In the long run, she might just regret this.
What does the public has to say?
Q: Will you boycott Kat Von D after she revealed herself to be an anti-vaxxer?

People have their doubts now.
Sucks that I have to boycott @thekatvond's makeup now that she's come out as a scientifically illiterate wafflestomp. 🖕 Her liquid liner and blotting powder are my FAVS but her "actual research" into vaccinating makes me wonder how safe she actually is with her products 😬

Lets call out everyone.

Proper research please, Kat.
PLEASE VACCINATE YOUR CHILDREN!!!! VACCINES ARE SAFE AND SO MUCH BETTER THAN DEAD CHILDREN. ALSO, fuck opinions like Kat Von D’s there isn’t any research AT ALL that is valid, to be anti-vaccine. You are an idiot and endangering your child and everyone else’s. #VaccinesWork
