Save Your Face From Pollution

No matter how much we try there is one thing we cannot just save our face from POLLUTION.

Living in Pakistan we know how much our skin is exposed to the pollution. We may be able to protect our face from the harsh sun rays courtesy sunblock but what about the contamination? Here are easy ways to save your skin from the pollution and its side effects.

Increase your water intake and stay hydrated.

Water helps in cleansing the toxins out of the body and helps the cells to absorb the required nutrients. It also assists to restore what is lost by sweating and perspiration to make the skin look clean and fresh.

Keep the skin clean

Cleansing is the most fundamental part of a skin care process. Cleansing takes away the removes of the dirt, pollutants and excessive oil that clog the pores from the epidermis.

Omega 3 boosts the protection of skin

These essential fatty acids help to develop lipid-based cell membranes that transport water and essential nutrients. These lipids form an oil shield on the skin that prevents the skin from the harm of ultraviolet rays and pollutants.


Antioxidants are good for the skin; these antioxidants are present in all kinds of foods, like fruits, vegetables, seafood and oils.


A good moisturizer hydrates the skin and creates a barrier between your skin and free radicals and other pollutants.

Chlorine on a limit

When you shower, heat opens your pores and allows the chlorine to seep into your skin – stripping away natural oils and causing it to dry, which can lead to wrinkles. Reduce time spent in swimming pools and other heavily chlorinated water.
