AT times, it doesn’t matter how much you hydrate or moisturizing creams, you just cannot seem to get rid of the chapped lips. Well, we have some great news for you!

You can say goodbye to your chapped lips permanently with these quick and easy home remedies!

  1. Coconut Oil or Olive Oil

Take coconut or olive oil which are both carrier oils and mix them with 1 to 2 drops of any essential oil that is available. Apply the blend on your lips and leave it overnight. You can also use this two or three times during the day. The oils not only make your lips softer but also speed up the process of healing the cracks and dryness.

  1. Vaseline and Honey

This unusual combination can actually work wonders for your chapped and dry lips. What you have to do first is apply one layer of raw honey on and then follow it up with Vaseline. Leave both of these on for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a wipe or any damp cloth to wipe it up afterwards. You have to repeat the process at least once every day to see permanent results.

  1. Milk and Rose Petals

There are so many great benefits of using rose water but this is slightly different. Take 5 or 6 rose petals and almost ¼ cup of milk. Soak all the petals in it for about two to three hours. Then mash them together so that you get a paste like mixture,. Apply this on your lips and keep it on 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and do this once each day.

  1. Cucumber Slices

Well, they are not just good for the eyes but for getting rid of chapped lips as well! All you have to do is take a cucumber slice and rub it on the lips. Keep doing so for at least one or two minutes. Leave the juice on for around ten more minutes and then wash it off. You have to consistently repeat this once or twice daily.

  1. Green Tea Bags

You may have heard about these being good for your dark circles and can help with chapped lips as well. Take a cup of hot water and dip one green tea bag in it. Place the soaked bag on your lips for a few minutes and leave it. Repeat once every day. This can also help in reducing any inflammation on the lips you may experience due to dryness.
